FAQs
How does on-site mug printing work?
Guests choose or create a design (photo, logo, text) on a tablet screen. We then sublimation-print it onto a white ceramic mug in about 90 seconds — they leave with a custom keepsake.
Are the printed mugs dishwasher-safe?
Yes — we use sublimation printing which infuses the design into the ceramic coating. The print will not fade, peel, or wash off in the dishwasher.
How many mugs can be printed in the 3-hour minimum?
We produce approximately 30–40 mugs per hour, so around 90–120 mugs in a 3-hour session. Extra mugs and extended time are available if needed.
Can guests use their own photos on the mugs?
Yes! Guests can AirDrop or email a photo from their phone and we print it directly onto the mug. Selfies, group shots, and pet photos are all popular choices.
What makes the Photo-Mug Booth different from a regular photo booth?
Instead of printed photo strips, your guests take home their photobooth pictures printed onto a real mug, on the spot. We're the first in Australia to offer on-the-spot mug printing, so it's a genuinely unique experience and keepsake.
Are the mugs safe to use every day?
Yes. Every mug is both dishwasher and microwave safe, so they're built for everyday use — perfect for a morning cuppa long after the celebration.
How long can we have the booth?
We offer 3-hour, 4-hour and 5-hour packages so you can match the booth to your event timeline. Longer hires keep the photo and mug fun going right through the celebration.
Do we need to run the booth ourselves?
Not at all. The booth is fully automated with a live view screen, and two professional attendants stay on-site throughout to help your guests, manage the printing and keep everything running smoothly.
Do we get copies of the photos?
Yes. Alongside every printed mug, you'll receive a digital copy of all the photos taken during your event, so nothing from the night is lost.
